Crooked Pond 4/10
From Bill Drummond:
Dear Friends,
Crooked Pond, Boxford was great for general birding as we saw Pine and Palm Warblers, Pileated Woodpecker, Brown Creepers doing nest building. The bird of the day was the great look at the singing Winter Wren. We did not get the Louisiana Waterthrush, which used to always be in by April 10. I wonder why the change has occurred. By the time we got to Plum it was windy and birding was sparse. Nevertheless, the morning at Crooked Pond was really special.
Good birding, everyone!
